Job Description

A leading telecoms integration company needs the services of a Technical Manager to fill up the role of Technical Manager in her Lagos Office.

• Billing Applications Support:
• Sun Solaris 9, 10 / IBM AIX administration.
• Oracle 9i and 10g Database administration
• Voucher Management (i.e. Generation, loading and activation of Vouchers)
• Application support
• Application Development
• RTBS (IN) Support and Administration
• Mediation support
• Project Management
• Revenue assurance and fraud isolation in billing.

An experienced Telecoms systems support specialist with experience in Telecom Billing Operations, UNIX / AIX administration, scripting, coupled with ITIL and Oracle certification. Proven experience within Telecommunication and IT. OSS and BSS support. Administration and support on Intelligent Network (IN) Platform. Subscribers Migration to aid load balancing on the network. Writing XML scripts for bulk migration in order to meet sales target. Result orientated with effective application support and administration skills in a leading Telecoms firm in Nigeria. Key strength areas include: leadership, strong technical & analytical skills, result oriented, software development and implementation, attention to detail, business process development, project Management, Telecom knowledge which include: Billing; CDR Processing, Rating, Configuration / Integration, Comprehensive Billing Operation Management, Product Lifecycle Management, Experience in patch deployment and system upgrades in areas related to OSS.


• Serve as a focal point for the Company and must work on all technical and integration activities in front of the Telco companies.
• Work closely on daily basis with the Telco, IT and VAS Support. Have a deep knowledge of the product and integration flows and interfaces and be able to conduct and participant in technical discussions with the Telco technical teams.
• Managing all project related end to end Integrations with the Telco ( e.g. Messaging and Billing integration , Mobile SIM Solutions , E2E Flow discussion)
• Perform training for the Telco teams on an on-going basis for new features and products
• Be the local engineer to track and solve all integration and IT related issue related to the Telco teams.

• Coordinate the OSS / BSS team
• Oversee the deployment of the new Billing platform
• Monitoring and Maintenance of Billing severs
• Provisioning and activation of prepaid and post paid subscribers
• Liaise with soft switch department to reduce revenue leakage by ensuring end-end provisioning of subscribers
• Billing systems audit and soft switch
• Resolution of interconnect issues
• Support and administration of mediation system
• Support and administration of interconnect system
• Oversee the IT department
• Define procedure for backup and implementation
• Oversees server and system maintenance
• Design procedure for IT Equipment purchase, customer complaints resolution
• Define procedure for software installation
• Coordinating IT projects
• Providing guidance for other IT Staff
• Proffering solutions to IT problems
• Management of Company’s website and email accounts
• Analyse and document business on products and other VAS (Value Added Service) to be deployed

Educational Qualification
B.sc in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering. Master degrees will also be an added advantage.
A minimum of 7 years experience in Telecomms environment will be required
