Sales Manager – Furniture and Home Decor

We are a brand new Premier Furniture and Home Décor retail and we are looking for a full-time Sales Manager in our Lagos Island Location.

The Sales Manager is responsible for delivering store sales and excellent service through leadership, developing and motivating a successful sale team and supporting the operational performance of the store. This role drives performance by appropriately delegating assignments, resolving issues and building teamwork. Our Sales Manager should be versatile and an active professional who work across roles, leading the team in the office and out on a client visit anywhere their efforts is needed. The Sales Manager promotes our Design Philosophy and creates a warm and welcoming customer experience.

• Lead the sales growth and profitability of your store and the quality performance of the team.
• Coach Associates on exceptional sales performance.
• Educate Associates on Company policy and procedure compliance.
• Lead by example, maintaining a strong professional presence at all times and act as Store Manager when required.
• Manage sales, service, administrative and/or operational assignments or functions assigned by the Store Manager.
• Provide exceptional customer service in a manner that models a positive attitude and enthusiasm for our products and build lasting relationships with our customers.
• Demonstrate expertise in our merchandise, knowing the qualities, benefits, features and ensure appropriate stock levels, signage and tags.
• Additional duties as assigned.

• While a Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline is desired, equivalent education and experience is welcome.
• Experience leading in a commission-based retail selling.
• Demonstrated success in personal sales and providing exceptional customer service.
• Experience with interior design and design concepts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good computer skills, able to perform store analytics and required calculations.
• The ability to use reasonable and effective decision making skills in a constantly changing environment.
