Job Description

Our company whose factory is located at Ibeju-Lekki aims to carve a niche in the sale of large quantities of Engineering blocks and paving stones to the real estate developers, support the development of infrastructure and the Lekki free trade zone.
Our organization strives for local market leadership and continually seeks to enhance its reputation among public and private members of the industry for honesty, integrity and quality in the production and supply of Engineering blocks and paving stones.
Responsibilities
Achieve individual monthly / quarterly sales targets as set by management.
Maintain familiarity with all major real estate developers, government officials, local suppliers, builders, project managers etc
Provide regular written and oral feedback to management on market indicators and buyer interest.
Demonstrate an ability to convert prospects into clients.
Assist the organization gain a better market share by identifying, recommending and implementing improved selling and marketing strategies.
Continually look to identify further business opportunities through effective liaising with other related businesses and colleagues.
Assist when required in preparing and providing various sales reports for the General Manager
Endeavour to maintain an understanding of both local and national real estate markets.
Assist the organization achieve budgetary targets from its sales activities.
Ensure punctual attendance for all internal and external business commitments.
Participate in key result area and key performance indicator review processes to establish areas for improvement
Maintain a well groomed and business like appearance.
Person Specification/ Competencies:
A good University degree.
5yrs and above similar experience in the sale of large quantities of Engineering blocks or building materials to major developers or construction companies.
In-depth knowledge of up-coming and on-going key projects in real estate, construction, road repairs.
An eye for fashioning out business opportunities and supporting business growth.
Excellent mentoring and people management skills.
A thought leader in maximizing business opportunities in the building/construction industry
Excellent relationship management skills.
Proven ability to advice and convince clients.
Excellent written, presentation and oral communication skills.
Proven experience of working with minimum supervision.
Excellent intelligence gathering skills.
