Full-Time Sales Executives and Business Development Officer

Job Description

A Software Support company currently seeks the service of Sales Executives and Business Development Officer:
Scope of work
Formulate and develop a sales strategy for the unit based on an in-depth assessment of customers’ needs and expectations, including:
a) Analysis of the market for public and private sector building
b) Identification of key customer groups potentially attracted to the Services
c) Formulation of business plans
d) Developments of sales support material in conjunction with the company marketing strategies.
Continually monitor the effectiveness of the sales strategy identifying opportunities for development and improvement and implementing changes in conjunction with the Management Team.
Manage other assigned sales personnel on a day-to-day basis ensuring that they are provided with the appropriate level of initial training, professional development, sales guidance and strategic direction.
a) Manage all sales processes to ensure closure of sales through
a) Lead generation
b) Product demonstration
c) Proposal development and follow up
d) Negotiations and closure
o Formulate sales strategy proposals for joint consideration with the department head and Management, following consultation with Business Development staff and others where necessary.
o Implement the formulated sales strategy by ensuring that Business Development staff is aware of and pursue the agreed targets and objectives.
o Ensure that information relating to new products and new procurement practices are effectively communicated to all parties.
o Deliver sales to the amount as agreed and will be reviewed periodically
o Review the terms and conditions with customers and devise and implement a system for reinforcing the best value services.
o Review the sales strategy at quarterly intervals, recommending improvements and policy changes and taking the appropriate action in conjunction with the rest of the business development and sales units.
o Maintain an electronic Customer Relationship tool for managing clients and sales cycle.
o Promote the effective communication between the business development team, customers and appointed companies and develop proposals for improvement in conjunction with the necessary dept.
o Proactively develop and improve products and services
o Liaise with Company Business Partners.
• Minimum of HND, BSc in a related field
• 0-2 years’ experience for Sales Executives
•2-5 years’ experience for Business Development Officers
• should possess essential sale skills
• Must possess negotiation skill, Effective presentation and report writing skills
• High energy with hands-on approach to responsibilities
• Work hours & Day: 8: 00 am – 5: 00 pm; Monday – Friday
