Job Description:

  • Responsible fordeveloping, initiating, planning, implementing, managing, organizing and supervising all our health programmes, events, projects and initiatives among others as well as preparing and making presentations, preparing agendas for meetings,keeping minutes, writing  reports and documentations
  • Responsible for providing HIV/AIDS Testing Services (HTS)to our clients which includes Most at Risk persons (MARPS) and other target groups or population.
  • Responsible for providing professional training, mentoring, capacity building and development of all our team members involved in our health related programmes and projects which includes our clients, volunteers, interns and partners among others.
  • Responsible for planning, developing, implementing and evaluating programmes and projects, coordinating project activities, collaborating with project team members and stakeholders, providing support and developing measurable project goals and objectives and monitoring progress toward achievement.
  • Responsible for being part of and providing support in all our programme(s), project design(s), development, implementation and documentation as may be directed.
  • Responsible for carrying out other assignments, duties and functions as may be directed.

Qualifications& Experience:

The successful person would be expected to have the following underlisted qualifications and experience which include:-

  1. Minimum of OND or its equivalent in any of the following disciplinesPublic Health,Clinical Medicine, Nursing, Community Health, Social Sciences, Social work, Community developmentor any other related field or discipline.
  1. Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience in HIV/AIDS, OVC, Malaria, Tuberculosis & other health intervention programmes.
  1. Professional and proficient skills in creative writing, proposal writing and development, report writing, interpersonal, Organizational and administrative Skills.
  1. Efficient computer skills, knowledge and efficient use of programme computer software and reporting tools.
  1. Highly organized, passionate with high level of motivation, honest, self-motivated, good team player and must be able to work under pressure without supervision in a multi-cultural environment.
  1. Experience in NGO work and training on HIV/AIDS Testing Services (HTS) especially with the National Guidelines for HIV Counselling and testing would be an added advantage.
