Job Description Summary:

Under the supervision of the Head of Growth & Business Development, the Lead, Campaign & Analytics will be required to work with a wide range of staff across the iConcepts business. He will also work with all offline, online and digital marketing partners, network operators and other technical service providers to run and manage promotional campaigns for iConcepts products and services and measure their effectiveness. He will work out of the Lagos office, but may be expected to travel for work occasionally.


  • Craft and execute an overall promotional strategy and campaign plan in collaboration with the Content Operations, Products & IT units where applicable
  • Coordinate all promotional activities contained in the VAS business to support the attainment of the business’ growth targets
  • Set up clear monitoring mechanisms for all VAS products to ensure their continued performance throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Use campaign results data to and as internal advisor/consultant to the Products & Content Operations teams, this includes-

o    Identifying consumer trends and preferences to inform the product design, development and revamp processes

o    Conducting periodic competitor analysis to identify potential threats or opportunities for the iConcepts business

o    Monitoring uptake and churn on VAS services to spot any possible product or content quality issues

  • Proactively scout for new platforms and opportunities for service promotion using mobile technology
  • Train iConcepts staff and other end users, where applicable in the use of innovation marketing channels and best practice campaign management processes.
  • Document campaign results and ROI to facilitate knowledge sharing and process improvement
  • Coordinate iConcepts efforts to showcase successful product innovations at mobile technology forums


  • Advanced university degree in Marketing, or other relevant disciplines, with training or requisite experience in Product Marketing in the Media/Telecommunications industry

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills (e.g. ability to use and modify data sets in Excel, write SQL queries and export data, etc.)
  • Demonstrated communication and relationship building skills
  • Excellent oral and written presentation skills
  • Clear upward communication and management skills. Results oriented individual.
