VACANCIES
COMPANY: A reputable institution with Headquarters in Lagos
JOB 1: SYSTEM AUDIT AND CONTROL OFFICER
ROLES:
Develop and implement a risk-based IT Audit Strategy in compliance with IT Audit standards to ensure that key areas are included
Plan specific IT Audits to determine whether information systems are protected, controlled and provide value to the organisation
Conduct IT audits in accordance with IT audits standards to achieve planned audit objectives
Report all audit findings and make recommendations to key stakeholders for effective change when necessary
Conduct follow up or prepare timely status reports to ensure that appropriate actions are taken by management
Reports directly to the Head, Internal Audit and Control
QUALIFICATIONS/ELIGIBILITY:
Strong knowledge of IT Audit and Assurance Standards, Guidelines and Tools, Techniques, Code of Professional Ethics and other applicable standards
IT Risk Management/Assessment Concepts, tools and techniques in an Audit context
Strong knowledge of control objectives and controls related to information systems
Knowledge of audit planning and audit project management techniques, including follow-up
Knowledge of fundamental business processes (e.g. purchasing, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable) including relevant IT
Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations which affect the scope, evidence, collection and preservation and frequency of audits
Knowledge of evidence collection techniques (e.g. observation, inquiry, inspection, interview, data analysis) used to gather, protect and preserve audit evidence
Knowledge of reporting and communication techniques
Knowledge of audit quality assurance systems and frameworks
Knowledge of IT architecture related to data applications and technology (e.g. web based applications, web services)
BSc/HND in Accounting, Computer Science from any reputable institution
A Masters Degree in the same discipline is an added advantage
Must be a member of Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) with not less than 5 years working experience in the Audit Department
The candidate should not be more than 40 years of age
Good ICT skill is a basic requirement

JOBS 2: INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY OFFICERS
Database Management/Programming and Software Development (2 positions)
ROLES:
Proficiency in the use of Structured Query Language (SQL)
Programming and Software Development such as Java, C++, . Net, VB.Net, Object Oriented Analysis & Design, PHP
Proficiency in the use of Access and Excel
Networking (1 position)
ROLES:
LAN Management
Network Designs using CISCO and other networking device
Proficiency in Routing and Switching Technology
In-depth knowledge of windows servers and services
The officers will report directly to the Head, Information Technology.
PERSONALITY/QUALIFICATIONS/ELIGIBILITY:
Strong ability to work effectively in a team
Reporting, writing and strong presentation skill
Adaptability
BSc/HND Computer Science from any reputable institution with not less than 5 years working experience
A Masters Degree in the same discipline is an added advantage
The candidate should not be more than 40 years of age
IT professional qualifications is a strong advantage
