Tedikom Wireless Limited – An emerging indigenous software development and mobile telecommunications company is requesting for applications for the following vacancies in her Lagos & Uyo offices.


Location Akwa Ibom, Lagos

The developers will be responsible for design, development and implementation of digital applications spanning web and mobile channels for clients. The ideal candidates must have skills and experience to develop web & mobile applications using cutting edge technologies. Combined with managing client expectations, the candidates should be able to work on multiple projects at the same time and ensure projects are completed on time. In addition, the ideal candidates should possess the ability to:

Independently develop logic, write codes, test, debug, document and install software in accordance with industry best practices and specific internal procedures and standards
Skilled in breaking down features into requirements, giving time estimates, and writing test procedures
Adapt quickly and positively to a constantly changing business environment with tight timelines
Balance many projects and priorities in a high-pressure, fast paced environment
Work with business partners to continually develop, evolve and improve web and mobile applications
Be self-motivated, independent, proactive and an effective team player
Take on new responsibilities with high energy and eager attitude
Develop good quality web and mobile applications
Implement complex applications working within a team
Pay attention to detail to ensure all tasks and the applications have no loose ends
Provide accurate updates to management of the development status
Must not be more than 30 years.

Essential Skills

Vast knowledge in PHP and Java
Strong interface design skills using HTML5, CSS3,
Familiar with Phone Gap
Experience with Javascript
Experience on web service integration with Restful API ( JSON, XML)
Good understanding of OO programming and design patterns
Experience building web and native apps
Experience using social media APIs
Excellent debugging and optimization skills
Ongoing goals:

Keeping abreast of the latest XHTML/CSS/WAI standards and Web 2.0 developments on the front-end side of things and the latest design and typographical trends
To learn from the team how to take on a project from a conception through wire-framing and technical specifications then onto design and build and beyond, on-time and on budget.

OND/HND/B.Sc. in Computer Science or other related discipline

3+ years web development experience
2+ years of PHP experience
2+ years experience with e-commerce websites
Experience writing custom web application and software required

Job Description

Confirms project requirements by studying user requirements; conferring with others on project team.
Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality
Perform internal audit and prepare all invoices and determine quality improvement processes.
Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
Filter and “clean” data, and review computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

Proven working experience as a data analyst
Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL etc), programming (XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks)
Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing large datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS etc)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings

Job Description

Manage Social Media marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities
Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification
Creates, manages and grows business presence across social media channels, including, but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube and Instagram.
Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of company’s social content
Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community
Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules
Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and then acting on the information
Instant on-site post on our social media channels
Strategically establish campaigns that will significantly grow fan-base
Promote our brands and products via online platforms
To develop visual representation for our social media campaigns
To establish and use a range of captivating visual content on our social media platforms

Proven working experience in social media or related field
Familiarity with Standard Microsoft Office packages is a prerequisite.
Good writing skills and graphics expertise is an added advantage.
Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO
Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels
Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
Demonstrates creativity and documented immersion in Social Media.
Fluency in English
Bachelor of Science(B.Sc) in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations

Excellent communication and presentation skills – this is essential as it is a customer facing role

Excellent leadership – leadership experience from previous roles is desirable
