Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position reports to the Vice President of Client Services and is responsible for working with end customers implementing our family of financial products which help clients meet the requirements of IFRS Transition.

Only applicants with previous IFRS transition experience will be considered. Big 4 experience a plus.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist clients on our suite of financial compliance products and move them through IFRS transition projects.
Work with clients to scope IFRS transition projects and assist in setup for project management for transition from GAAP to IFRS using our financial compliance software and proven methodology
Working in a team environment or one on one with clients
Interface with large national and international distribution partners for support to their staff
Support clients onsite and remotely using state of the art tools such as WebEx
Some domestic and international travel required to train and implement clients
Assist in development of new financial compliance solutions as the market requires

Desired Skills & Experience

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be legally entitled to work in Nigeria
Must have good English Language skills
Must have had hands-on IFRS transition project experience
Thorough knowledge International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and knowledge of Nigerian GAAP a requirement
Experience in Insurance, financial services and oil and gas a plus.
University degree combined with a professional accounting designation –CA
5-10 years experience in financial leadership roles
.Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards will be considered an asset
Strong analytical skills, problem solving and decision making capability
Superior project management, organizational and time management skills
Strong software skills from and end user perspective
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including ability to present information clearly
Excellent attention to detail
Can communicate and work with people at all levels of the organization and from all backgrounds and countries
Strong organizational skills with ability to implement our software in client organizations
Desire to work in a high growth industry in a dynamic environment
Ability to be a self-starter and accept change readily
Ability to take the lead with clients and make recommendations
Experience in mining, oil and gas, biotech and financial services sectors a plus
