Position: Business Performance Manager/ Executive Assistant to the CEO
Direct Report: CEO/MD
Indirect Report: Executive Management
Department: Business Development Unit
Location: Head Office- Lagos

Main Purpose of the Job
The Executive Assistant/Business Performance Manager will work directly with the Chief Executive Officer in all company’s business development and expansion projects. He will also be responsible for gaining new customers, managing existing relationships, ensuring the effective planning, execution and control of all processes and procedures leading to strategic performance.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Support CEO in designing and executing successful business development strategies to generate new business and new clients for the company across all its operations.
• Develop business analysis strategy and relevant analysis tools to support CEO for decision making
• Conduct market research to evaluate opportunities and support in the development of financial strategies and plans for expansion and effective operations across business services.
• The role will incorporate responsibility for all aspects of the business generation process including sales strategy formulation, market research and analysis, brand management and promotional activities, preparation of proposals, and commercial and contractual negotiation.
• Monitor the outcome of business activities of the Company so that cost benefit projections are achieved.
• Client/contractor interaction & communication from project inception to completion and also create partnerships/strategic alliances
• Building a database of target opportunities with the clients and on projects; Identification of new related ventures or services that could compliment the company’s
• Establish and control budgets, forecasts and ensure proper reporting of commercial performance of all Business operations

Candidate Requirements
• A University degree from a reputable institution
• Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience preferably 3 of which should be in the Oil/Gas industry.
• Must have analytical skills
• Able to demonstrate a high degree of initiative and responsibility
• Good track record of effective leadership skills in multi – disciplined oil and gas environment.
• Must be conversant with the downstream sector of the Oil and Gas industry.
• Strategic sales planning and methodologies
• Excellent networking and relationship skills
