Summary

This is a key leadership role ensuring the provision of high quality well engineering input into well projects in support of field development and asset reference plans, and subsequently managing the safe and efficient execution of resulting well programs by the rig teams under his/her supervision.

Job requirements
To be successful in your application you will need to:

· Possess at least a higher education Diploma (eg. HND or equivalent), but preferably a Bachelors Degree or higher, in a technical or engineering subject.

· Previous experience of working in multi-disciplinary team environments.

· Extensive experience in Well Engineering, which must include:

Ø in-depth knowledge of well design theory and practice;

Ø substantial supervisory experience in the field as well as in an office-based environment for planning and executing daily operations support;

Ø a proven safety leadership record and familiarity with safety management techniques;

Ø practical knowledge and application of drilling optimization techniques (eg. Deliver-the-Limit, etc).

Ø strong knowledge of latest technology applications related to well and completion design

Ø good knowledge of standard drilling engineering software such as WellPlan for Windows and Compass

Summary

This is a key role to ensure the design and safe delivery of fit for purpose development and/or exploration wells in co-operation with our sub-surface teams

Job requirements

To be successful in your application you will need to:

· Possess at least a higher education Diploma (eg. HND or equivalent), but preferably a Bachelors Degree or higher, in a technical or engineering subject.

· You’ll need to have substantial experience in well engineering, which must include proven well design experience and proven supervision experience as both a Drilling Supervisor in the field and as an office-based Operations Well Engineer.

· Experience in both land and offshore wells is preferred. Concurrent drilling and production operations experience is desirable.

· Your abilities will include being able to immediately and effectively fulfill any well engineering related task and to achieve assigned objectives with minimal support from the existing well engineering organization.

· Strong interpersonal relations and communication skills

· Good working knowledge of well engineering software packages are expected.
