Role Synopsis

At Baker Hughes, this position is responsible for supporting the legal department.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Under direct supervision of one or more attorneys, performs administrative tasks in support of legal operations. Performs a variety of duties, such as:

• database administration,

• legal fee analysis,

• report development,

• file organization,

• legal research.

• frequently involved in special projects.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with 3+ years’ experience in a legal environment.

Desired/Preferred Qualifications

Thorough understanding of basic legal processes.

Thorough understanding of the support role in a legal department

Proficient in use of MS Office

Good communication skills – both verbal and written.

Good analytical skills.
