Aircraft Cleaner

Purpose Statement: This role is responsible for accomplishing delegated
internal and external aircraft cleaning tasks.
Key Accountabilities:
 Aircraft Cleaners are expected to work under
the clear direction of the Aircraft Cleaners
Supervisor who will fully communicate the
process and procedures of maintain a clean
aircraft at all times.
 Aircraft Cleaners are responsible for completing
cleaning tasks delegated to them in a cost
effective and timely manner ensuring that such
work is accomplished to the required standards.
 Ensuring adherence to Company Procedure
requirements and Company Policy prerequisites
as regarding the aircraft cleaning /
maintenance.
 Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety
Policy requirements.
 To ensure that all cleaning tasks are
accomplished to the airline’s defined standard.
Knowledge, Skills and
Experience:
This position requires a School Cert. holder (SSCE/
NECO) or its equivalent. Preferably 2 year’s cleaning
experience. Possession of a driver’s licence would be
an advantage. Proactive attitude and positive approach
to delegated tasks. Ability to follow specific requests/
orders by delegated authorities.

Aircraft Cleaner- Supervisor

Purpose Statement: This role is responsible for supervising and accomplishing
delegated internal and external aircraft cleaning tasks.

 Liaise with the Certifying Engineer/TCO on duty with
respect to ensuring agreed turnaround time frame
for aircrafts are met with regards to a clean aircraft.

Cargo Officer

Lagos
Purpose Statement:
Ensure proper management of all existing cargo contracts across
Aero’s global network, ensure safe and efficient managing of cargo
service delivery in a cost effective way that will ensure performance
against agreed SLAs.
Key Accountabilities:
 Support and manage the cargo operations team in its daily
operations and plan long term development.
 Responsible for proper documentation, supervision and
coordination of all cargo on board Aero flights.
 Coordinate the activities of the nominated cargo contractor
and all 3rd party contractors to ensure a smooth day-to-day
operations and conformity to laid down SLA’s.
 Conform to law and legislation of the Airport Authorities
and also according to “Local Operational Procedures” (LOP)
of Aero’s policies and manuals.
 Support all operational budgets requirements and help
deliver an operational plan against forecasts /targets.
 Attend and represent the CCAS at operation/commercial
meetings.
 Direct and delegate all Customer Relations queries to the
nominated Cargo contractor.
 Support the CCAS in ensuring robust processes are in place
for Business Continuity and Emergency Planning.
Knowledge, Skills and
Experience:
This position requires a graduate with University Degree or its
equivalent. 5 years work experience in airport operations with a
minimum 3 years in a similar position. A good understanding of ‘Air
Cargo” and Airport operations. Proficient in the use of Microsoft
Office Applications. Excellent knowledge of Aero’s Cargo policy &
procedures. Excellent negotiation and communication skills are very
essential.

Turn Around Coordinator

Purpose Statement:
To manage the turnaround process, ensure safe, secure and
punctual departures of flights as well as taking into account the
business overviews of ensuring safety first, maximising revenue
and achieving the best customer service outcome within policy
guidelines.
Key Accountabilities:
 Acts as the focal point for all staff associated with the
aircraft arrival and departure, providing guidance and
advising and resolving issues which may impact on safety,
punctuality and customer services.
 Perform all aircraft weight and balance and documentation
activities for proper loading and according to company

 Ensure the provision of an accurate and punctual service
and ensuring turnaround time that activities conform to
legal and safety requirements as outlined by regulatory
bodies, aircraft manufacturers ,airline weight and balance
manuals etc
 Review existing operational practices, systems and
procedures to create work/process efficiencies and source
opportunities to maximise aircraft space utilisation and
fuel uptake in order to exploit maximum revenue capacity
and performance capability per aircraft.
 Coordinate the receipt, record and onward communication
of relevant information from various stakeholders
including outstations required for the preparation of
weight and balance documentation (loading instruction
report, load sheet and trim sheet) for an aircraft.
 Responsible for managing all aspects of fuelling of the
aircraft. Ensure quality of aviation fuel delivered is in
support of the company’s operations and safety standards
 Responsible for flight monitoring, weather monitoring,
Ground communication coordination, and information
dissemination
 Maintain radio contact with Aircrafts from commencement
to termination of flight
 Report any incident that could mar the smooth operation
of an aircraft in-flight to the appropriate quarters for
prompt action.
Knowledge, Skills and
Experience:
This position requires a graduate with a Degree/HND or any related
discipline relevant to aviation with at least 3 years airport/ ramp
experience with relevant certifications. Knowledge of load control,
ramp handling and dangerous goods, Understanding of passenger
and cargo handling. Knowledge of computerized departure control
systems. Ability to prepare load sheet manually and with the use of
systems. Ability to take quick and well informed decisions.
